Paper accepted for SUMO User Conference 2022
Our paper “Topology-Preserving Simplification of OpenStreetMap Network Data for Large-scale Simulation in SUMO” has been accepted for presentation at the SUMO User Conference 2022 (SUMO 2022). In it, we discuss a novel approach for quickly deriving large-scale smart mobility scenarios from publicly-available OpenStreetMap data. The paper is the result of our collaboration with Huawei Munich Research Center (HMRC).
