Paper accepted for IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems
Our paper Mobility and Deadline-aware Task Scheduling Mechanism for Vehicular Edge Computing has been accepted for an upcoming issue of IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems.
In it, we propose MARINA, a task scheduler for vehicular clouds which uses an LSTM architecture to predict available resources in a vehicular cloud based on vehicular mobility information; it then jointly considers task deadlines, monetary costs, and predicted resource availability (as predicted from mobility) for task scheduling.
