ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation paper now available

Our paper Adaptive Synchronization and Pacing Control for Visual Interactive Simulation in ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation (TOMACS) is now online.
In the paper we tackle a key problem in visual interactive simulations: balancing, at runtime, the delay of visualizing the simulation state with the delay of user interaction. We propose to exploit predictability in workloads to adjust the size of a newly-introduced buffer between both components.
The paper is now freely available in the ACM Digital Library and as an authors' accepted manuscript.
